CASE STUDY 08

HIROO RESIDENCE

KEIJI ASHIZAWA

“Located in a quiet and favorable neighborhood with a park nearby, the living room is facing the open area on the south side with long hours of sunlight, creating a bright atmosphere. In response to the increasing desire of urban dwellers to reside closer to nature, the interior embraces textures of the white-stained oak floors and walls and plaster walls cherishing the handwork strokes.”

“Our goal is to design spaces that can only be created by meticulously crafting from the smallest detail to the furniture, resulting in a quiet, comforting, and inspiring atmosphere with little noise, surrounded by natural materials crafted with tactility. We hope that it will serve as an aspiring model for urban dwellers overflowed with information, who may be stressed yet curious in living more harmonized with nature.”
